Dr. Christina Bauer

 I am working as a post-doc researcher at the Department of Occupational, Economic and Social Psychology. I investigate how identity-based processes put stigmatized individuals at a disadvantage and how psychologically wise interventions can help those individuals succeed.

Teresa Koch

I am working as a predoc researcher at the Department of Occupational, Economic and Social Psychology. I focus on children’s and adolescents’ digital maturity and how a beneficial use of digital technologies can be encouraged. My research is part of the EU Horizon 2020 project DIGYMATEX.

Julia Reiter

I am working as a post-doc researcher at the Department of Occupational, Economic and Social Psychology. I investigate political developmental processes during adolescence and emerging adulthood, including collective action, activism, and radicalization, as well as intergroup conflicts and societal conflicts in a broader sense.

Burcu Bayram  

I am currently working as a PhD student at the deparment of Cognition, Emotion, and Methods in Psychology. In my research, I focus on how auditory spatial and temporal predictions are represented in the brain.

Nina Vapoutic

I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Environmental Psychology group within the department of Cognition, Emotion, and Methods in Psychology. My interest lies in how people cope with scientific knowledge in their everyday lives, and more specifically I am involved in two research projects: in the first one, I am investigating risk perception of 5G technologies in experts and general public, and in the second one, I am investigating public perception and policy support regarding marine pollution.

Leonardo Bergmann

I am a PhD student in the Department of Cognition, Emotion, and Methods in Psychology. In my research, I aim to investigate how large language models can assist researchers in study planning and identifying appropriate statistical methods.

Luise Graichen

I am a PhD student at the Department of Cognition, Emotion, and Methods in Psychology, part of the Wagner Lab and affiliated with the Social, Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience Unit. The focus of my research is memory and navigation. How do we remember the past, how do we navigate the future? To investigate both concepts I am using a set of different methods such as eye tracking and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI).

Leonie Fian

I am currently working as a PhD student in the Environmental Psychology research group at the Department of Cognition, Emotion, and Methods in Psychology. My research focuses on exploring how microplastics in food and drinking water are perceived by different stakeholder groups and how this is related to acceptance of policies aiming to tackle plastic pollution.

Achilleas Tsarpalis Fragkoulidis 

I am currently a PhD student at the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology, working for the Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology unit. My work is focused on fears of social evaluation, emotion dysregulation and social anxiety in adolescence.

 I am working as a predoc at the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology in the Outpatient Unit for Research, Teaching and Praxis. In my research I focus on the negative impact of ethnic discrimination on psychobiological processes. Additionally, I am investigating the potential of an intervention to empower immigrant women to cope with discriminatory events in their daily life.

I am currently working as a predoc at the Department for Developmental and Educational Psychology. In my research, I investigate the development of interoception and social cognition in early childhood.

Fiona Rupprecht

I am working as a post-doc researcher at the Department of Developmental and Educational Psychology. In my research, I am focusing on how adults approach and prepare for their own aging, deal with the passage of time, the finitude of life, and ultimately, death.
