Travel grants can be applied for:

  • Active participation in scientific conferences (a contribution by the ECR, e.g., paper/poster presentation, is mandatory in order to be eligible for the grant)
  • Participation in workshops, summer schools, etc.

  • March/April (tba.)

Who can apply?

  • Who counts as Early Career Researchers (ECR)?
  • Priority groups of ECRs
    • Priority 1: Prae doc University assistant (full- or part- time)
    • Priority 2: Prae doc project employee (full- or part- time, including Uni:Docs, CoBeNe, FWF, WWTF) and Post doc University assistant/project employee (part-time)
    • Priority 3: Post-doc University assistant and project employee (full-time);
  • ECRs who are project employees (of Priority 2 and 3) are obliged to first clarify whether there is budget of the project dedicated for travelling before applying for the ECR travel grant.

  • Cancellation of your trip
  • Re-allocation of grant from one travel to another (already granted or new travel)
  • Subsequent submissions
