Ombudsperson and Trustees for ECRs
The ombudsperson and trustees act as independent and neutral advisors, mediators and support people, and as a contact point for problems, conflicts and challenges that arise or have arisen as a result of working as an early career researcher.
The trustees are ECRs themselves and can offer low-threshold access via peer-to-peer support. Concerns can be voiced to the ombudsperson, the trustees, or both, and the person approached first will handle the subject with confidentiality and only consult the other parties if desired by the applicant.
